Support and maintenance

Maintenance, evolution and technical guidance for the software you already have. A partner that stays around, long after launch.

What we do

  • Technical consulting and architecture reviews. We read the code, map the system, and tell you what to fix first and what can wait.
  • Taking over an existing codebase. We start with an honest code audit: dependencies, test coverage, security gaps, and the parts most likely to break next.
  • Maintenance, bug fixing and security updates. Dependency upgrades, patched vulnerabilities, and fixes shipped in short cycles.
  • Proactive monitoring and responsive support. Uptime and error tracking, so we catch problems before your users report them.
  • New features on a live product. We add to what already runs in production without taking it offline.
  • Modernization and migration of legacy systems. We move old stacks forward in steps, not in one risky rewrite.

How we work

It starts with a call. We look at what you have, what hurts, and what you want next. Then a proposal: clear scope, timeline, and cost. Defined pieces of work run fixed price, approved before we touch anything; ongoing maintenance runs on time and materials.

We build in short iterations. You see working software at every step, and you always know where the project stands. Everything is documented as we go: if you bring in another team later, they find it all in order.

Common questions

Can you take over software another team built? Yes. It is most of what we do here. We begin with a code audit and give you an honest read on the state of it before we commit to anything.

How fast do you respond when something breaks? We agree on response times up front, based on how critical the system is. Because we monitor it, we often see the problem before you report it. For business-critical systems we can put an on-call arrangement in place.

What if we only need a few hours a month? That works. Ongoing maintenance is time and materials, billed for the hours we actually use. There is no minimum retainer you cannot justify. We keep a short running log of what we changed and why, so you can see exactly where the hours go.
